Happy, happy Friday! Who else is excited that the weekend is almost here? Actually, that’s a silly question. Who wouldn’t be excited!?
Anyways, I’m crossing my fingers for some sunny weather in SF! I have a fun date night planned with Dane tonight, a Father’s Day dinner tomorrow night and might catch a movie and brunch as per usual. What are your weekend plans?
Today, I’m rounding up some of my favorite things from the week. These may include food items, fitness items, beauty items and random things I found. I love sharing my favorite things each week and I love hearing yours!
Cranberry Sweet Bread:
This is a random one, but several weeks ago when Dane and I stopped in Charlotte as we headed back from paradise, we tried this cranberry sweet bread as a starter at lunch and it was heavenly! It was kind of like french toast, but a little more savory. I completely forgot about it until I saw the photo I had taken at the time on my phone this week. It’s just too good not to include in my favorites!
I’ve been into big smorgasbords lately for weekend lunches. When you want everything, why not have a little bit of everything?
Grilled onions and mushrooms in ghee, leftover broccoli and brussel sprouts from a local salad bar, carrot sticks, kiwi, raspberries, blueberries, Babybel, Seed bread with jam, Biena’s BBQ chickpeas and turkey slices.

Trader Joe’s Nuts:
I’ve been trying out pretty much every kind of nut that Trader Joe’s has and I love all of the different varieties. I love snacking on nuts and putting them on salads. This week, I’ve been loving sesame almonds, sweet and spicy pecans and salted pecans!
