Another week down and another Friday Favorites! Anyone else feel like spring is FLYING BY?! I can’t believe it’s almost May. Dane and I have some exciting travel plans coming up, so we have to start gearing up for that. It seems like it was February only a week ago- crazy!
In traditional Friday fashion, I’m sharing some new finds that I’ve been loving this week.
Spiralized Carrots from Trader Joe’s
Holy crap, what a winning find! I usually make my own zucchini noodles, but I had never tried carrot ones until I found them in the frozen section. They are pre-spiralized, so all you have to do it pop them in a pan, or in the microwave. I’m buying them every week- they’re so easy to make! I microwaved these at work and added marinara, parmesan and turkey. WHAM BAM, lunch is ready!
Aria Protein Powder
Another Trader Joe’s find is this Aria Protein Powder. I’m not too picky with protein powders, especially because I only ever use them for my Vanilla Cinnamon Protein Cake. I just like to make sure the texture and taste come out okay when I bake with them and it sure did with this one. The flavor is delicious and it’s affordable and easy to grab next time you hit TJ’s!
Spring Pastel Colored Workout Gear
You know how much I love to look cute and fierce in the gym. These are some recent Adidas finds and I love the bright colors. The tops are sweat proof, so I don’t feel like a sh-weaty mess in the gym— I used to be able to wear cotton shirts, but with the change in weather here in San Francisco, I hate how heavy they feel after a workout! P.S. I’m holding some Adidas giveaways soon on my Instagram, so be sure to follow and look out for them!
Wine and Dine in Sonoma
Two weekends ago, Dane and I spent the weekend in Sonoma to celebrate our anniversary. We wined and dined all day and had a lovely time! Here are a few snaps from the weekend:
A glass of Chardonnay at Roche Winery:
The meat and cheese board at the Girl and the Fig. I’ve had a lot of meat and cheese boards in my time (it’s our favorite) and this is hands down in the top five.
Shrimp verde tacos at Oso. That avocado crema was BOMB!
In other news, I created a page for each post from my How to Start Lifting Weights series, so if you ever need to reference back to the workout plan, you can find it easily!
Now you tell me…
What’s your favorite taco filling?
Cheese plates: YAY or NAY?
Most looking forward to this weekend?
