Woohoo! It’s Friday and I’m so ready for the weekend. This weekend, Dane and I are in Tahoe for the 4th of July! We’ve been going for several years now and it’s a great break from the city. Since it’s Friday, I want to share some recent loves of mine. I usually share my favorite things every Friday as I’m always trying out new things and want to spread the love!
First of all, I’m stoked that you enjoyed my post on the healthy and unhealthy habits I have. It’s so important not to get caught up with certain “rules” around nutrition and fitness. The healthy habits I do are great, but the unhealthy habits are great too. It keeps happy!

Icon Meal’s Pre-made Meals
I know I mentioned Icon Meal’s protein popcorn last week, but along with the popcorn, Todd, the CEO sent me a bunch of their pre-cooked macro-balanced meals! I was stoked to dig in and after just 1-2 minutes in the microwave, the meals were ready. Each meal contains a great portion of protein and carbohydrates. The best thing about them is that they are low in sodium. I was shocked at how low the sodium was for a pre-made meal. Here are a few snapshots of the meals:

Talk about an impulse buy… When I saw these cute colored Tootsie Pops I just had to buy them. I’m not a huge candy fan, but since these have tootsie rolls inside, I’m in. Sometimes I just need a little sweet sugar boost and these lollipops do the trick!
Gliss Hair Oil and Blax Elastic Hair Ties

About a year ago, I started using argon and other hair oils (like this one!) after my showers. Since I dye my hair, it can get super dry and I’ve noticed signifiant changes to its texture since using hair oils. I spritz it on my hands and run it through my wet hair, then blow dry and style and it comes out incredibly smooth and soft! I’ve also been using these Blax elastic hair ties instead of regular hair ties. They are invisible and they don’t pull on my hair, so I can wear it up all day. I tend to get headaches when I have my hair up in a bun or ponytail with regular hair ties, but these Blax ones don’t do that!
