I have to say, the best thing in the world to me is getting cozy when it’s cold outside. Fall is my favorite season so I make sure to enjoy it to its fullest. Today, I’m sharing some of my favorite ways to get cozy for the fall season!
Disclaimer: prAna provided me with apparel for this post, but all opinions are from me and only me (see disclosure)
1. Get your go-to cozy sweater
A cozy sweater is not optional. What better way to snuggle up and stay warm than with an oversized and soft sweater? I got my cozy sweater from prAna and I love how long it is! It feels like the sweater is giving me a never-ending hug and I’m totally diggin’ the dark crimson color as it reminds me of fall leaves on the ground. If you’re looking for a cozy sweater, prAna is a great place to look! Better yet, you can grab a cozy sweater from prAna too and snuggle up by the fire (for 15% off, use code GH2CMF17– valid until Nov. 22nd).
2. Make a warm drink
Whether it’s tea, coffee or a hot toddy– my personal favorite! I have to have a warm drink in hand when I’m cuddling up inside. Lately, I’ve been loving chai teas and pumpkin spice coffee because those spicy flavors are perfect for the upcoming holidays.
3. Curl up with a blanket
No brainer here. I’m a blanket fiend. Like seriously, I have a blanket in practically every single color. I even have a mermaid tail blanket! If you want to get cozy, you got to have a blanket– it’s a must! Quick trick: I take the blanket and wrap it around me like a towel, then I sit or lay depending on what I’m doing. It will make you feel extra snug!
4. Loose, soft pants
I’m definitely team “no pants” most of the time, but when I want to feel like an adult, I will wear pants. These soft, loose Ryley Crop pants from prAna are perfect for lounging around. I don’t want to wear tight jeans or leggings, so a pair of soft and loose pants are the perfect solution!
5. Candles everywhere
Grab all the candles you can and put them around your home. I’m the candle Queen and even make my own sometimes! I love sweet and desserty scents (hello, Sugar Cookie, Cinnamon Roll, Pumpkin Mocha), but I also like to grab different colors to make my home look cozy (think, dark greens, shades of red and orange, yellows and whites!)
Now you tell me…
Favorite candle scent?
What’s one way you like to get cozy?
The fall season: YAY or NAY?
Fall is definitely my favorite season, too. I was so happy to come back home to the cool weather after our honeymoon! And I have actually had a sugar cookie candle burning in my office all week and it is making me so happy. š

Hah, it’s always too warm in LA! Come up to the bay area and enjoy that ocean, cool breeze!
I wish we needed sweaters here! I’m so excited to leave tomorrow – it’s only 60 in Barcelona. I’m packing boots! š
