Wow, I had a whirlwind of a weekend in Denver! Dane and I left Friday morning and spent two nights in Denver to explore the city. We absolutely love traveling, so we take advantage of our weekends as much as we can. We’re always planning trips and this one was such a blast. Denver is such a fun city and it was nice to get out of SF and experience a change of pace in a different city. Any Denver readers out there?

Q: What do you eat for a quick and easy breakfast?
A: I’m a creature of habit when it comes to breakfast, so I typically eat the same thing until I get sick of it. That way, I don’t have to spend time thinking of what to make each morning, since my mornings are packed. Right now, I eat 3 hard boiled eggs and two big tablespoons of peanut butter or half peanut butter and half peanut flour paste. You can see it in action here! Some other filling and easy ideas are Greek yogurt bowls with a fat source (nuts, nut butter) and fruit or protein powder and overnight oats with a fat source and protein source, too!
On This Fit Chick:
On my blog: I shared my weekend in Tahoe!
On my Instagram: This amazing protein packed pizza base!
On my Twitter: A throwback to what I’ve been eating.
What I want to eat right now:
- Protein overnight oats! Great for warm weather mornings!
- This chicken and pecan salad. I love pecans!
- PB&J bars that look incredible!
Now you tell me…
What’s the last city you visited?
What did you eat for breakfast today?
Pecans: YAY or NAY?
Love this! The last city I visited was Malaga, Spain! I just got back this past weekend, it was such an incredible trip.
And for breakfast today I had Kashi GOLEAN cereal with strawberries and vanilla almond milk. So filling and quick!
Pecans: YAY! I love all nuts.
Hope you have a great start to your week š
Oh my gosh, Spain is beautiful! So jealous you got to go. Sounds like a delicious and easy breakfast! Have a lovely week š
The last city I visited was Seattle and it was so good to get out of the heat for a little while! Now I’m just waiting for cooler temperatures starting at the end of this week!
Oh, I bet! I want to take another trip to Seattle soon!
i love denver so much!!! i was trying to move there last year actually, but then got my job in LA! and i love how simple your breakfast is – hard boiled eggs have been a favorite of mine lately, too š
Ah, well LA ain’t so bad š Definitely a big difference– mountains in Denver and the beach in LA!
You guys are doing so much fun stuff lately! I’ve never been to Denver and would love to explore it one day. And I really need to try your breakfast one of these mornings … it sounds strange, but good! š
Yes! We love to travel š Hah, it’s odd but so good and full of fats!
Thank you so much for linking to my post!
Of course, Crystal! It’s a good one!
I’m definitely a creature of habit too when it comes to breakfast. Lately I’ve either been into having two blueberry muffins with a tablespoon of almond butter. But I’ve been eating that for about a month so I have a feeling I’ll need to switch it up soon.
And so awesoem you recently got to go to Denver and Tahoe, I would love to take a trip with the hubs anywhere out west soon!
That sounds delicious. I sure love muffins in the morning! You should! So much to see out here!
Glad you had fun, I went to Denver to visit a friend in July. We had a blast, it is such a fun city.
Right? I love it! Such a great place to explore!
