Well hello there! Nice to be back on here after a week away. Life is busy, busy, busy, but I love showing up on a Monday with some great reads and recipes for you. My weekend was awesome! I watched a ton of football and went to a wedding. Weddings are so much fun– who’s with me on that?
Today is another recipes, round-ups and Q+A post. This is where I showcase some interesting links from around the web, throwback to some old posts of mine, answer your anonymous questions and highlight some yummy recipes I find on the web!
Around the web:
- Have you listened to this podcast?
- Why you need to foam roll (I need to get better at this!)
- Dealing with an injury? Read this.
- 10 Ways to Bake with Eggs (I LOVE EGGS!)
Throwback:
Not sure what to do with that can of chickpeas? I’ve got you covered!
I love wine and cocktails and there’s nothing wrong with it!
Ask me anything:
Ask your questions here!
Q: What’s your favorite way to wind down?
A: I freakin’ love reality TV. That’s one of my favorite things to do when I need to clear my head. I know a lot of people “poo poo” it, but I love taking my mind away and just focusing on stupid drama that I know is silly. I also like to listen to Coldplay and go on walks to wind down. And, nothing beats an episode (or five!) of Friends, Sex and the City, Full House and Sabrina the Teenage Witch!
On This Fit Chick:
On my blog: You need to get these hair ties if you have long hair!
On my Instagram: Wrapping up summer the right way…
On my Twitter: I can’t believe nutrition coaches still recommend low calorie diets…
What I want to eat right now:
- Pumpkin protein balls– YES
- Almond flour pumpkin muffins (do you sense a theme?)
- This delicious socca breakfast pizza!
- This southwestern breakfast bowl!
Now you tell me…
Savory or sweet breakfast?
Have you every suffered from an injury? What happened?
What’s your favorite childhood TV show?
I LOVE reality TV, too. Definitely an amazing way to zen out/wind down.
And definitely a sweet breakfast for me!
Hope you have a great Monday, girl!
Hehe, love to know other reality TV fans! It’s silly, but so entertaining. YAY for sweet breakfasts!
Love the recipes you shared!
I love breakfast, I could go either way on sweet or savory, all depends on my mood š
Injuries, so bittersweet for me. I fractured my pelvis back in 2010 on an 18 mile long run, I was just running. Recovery was LONG, I learned a lot about myself during the process. Although it was hard at the time, I’m thankful for the insight and growth experience I gained from it.
Oh my gosh!! That’s a horrible injury. So sorry to hear about that. I’m sure you gained a lot from that experience!
Love your round ups girl!
Thank you! I shall keep them coming š
Another awesome round up! I need so watch something light tonight. Friends may be it!
I watch that almost every night right before bed!
